This collection features photographs captured throughout 2026 on a Nikon FM2, a fully mechanical 35mm film camera from the early 1980s. The images combine street photography and landscapes from across New Zealand's South Island, documenting everything from everyday urban moments to remote natural environments. Working with film encourages a slower, more deliberate approach to photography, with each frame carefully considered before it is taken.

The photographs are shot on Kodak UltraMax 400, Ilford HP5 Plus 400, and Fujifilm 200, each contributing its own distinctive character and colour palette. The collection will continue to grow throughout the year as dozens of rolls from an upcoming European journey are developed and added to the archive, creating an expanding record of places, people, and moments captured through analogue photography.
